Baton Rouge, La. – Today, NORTHPAC, a Political Action Committee (PAC) of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) announced their endorsement of Raymond Crews for Louisiana House District 8.
NORTHPAC Chairman Terry Baugh stated, “We are excited to endorse a small business man such as Raymond Crews. We feel he will be a breath of fresh air in Baton Rouge and will work diligently to improve the tax climate; he will push for the reform we need to be successful as a state.”
Baugh continued to say, “We believe that small businessman Raymond Crews is the best candidate to lead House District 8.”
NORTHPAC covers 22 parishes in north Louisiana running from Caddo Parish along I-20 to East Carroll Parish and as far south as Concordia Parish. It is made up of businessmen and businesswomen who look to support electable candidates who embrace free-market principles.
“We encourage the business community to support Raymond Crews in his race for House District 8,” said NORTHPAC Executive Director Brian Landry. “This is a critical and dynamic special election.”
Raymond Crews is a computer science graduate of Texas A&M. He is a retired Air Force Reserve B-52 pilot and currently runs multiple small businesses in Bossier Parish. He and his wife Dianah have two children and attend First Bossier Baptist Church.
When notified of the endorsement Raymond Crews stated, “I am thankful and encouraged by the endorsement of NORTHPAC. My interactions with the officers and members left me optimistic and enthusiastic about the future of our great state. They are reasonable, wise, and compassionate people banded together to make Louisiana a great place for business and I eagerly await the opportunity to engage with the business community as the Representative for our District.”
